how about that pink plastic dream house thing that came out about a year ago? i think i blocked out the name because the ads touted the thing as "a place where a little girls dreams come true" and then they showed a girl doing laundry, dishes, vacuuming. as a feminist, it was horrifying!

I'm going to cast another vote to spare the microbes. They're freaking cute. I'd prefer for my kid to play with microbes over Bratz. There's less chance they'll catch an STD.

I love the Giant Microbes! My husband is a physician and we are doing research on organic bacterial inhibition gels that target MRSA specifically... so little Gracie gets a lesson through her toy. I'm sure many more microbes to come. Yes, she will think mom and dad are complete nerds. Do we love her any less-- absolutely not! Just like her to be included... Anyway, we are Pooh Bear-ed out!
