Did Hugo really frighten all the others potential diners out of the cafeteria? Or was it empty anyway? Did his Daddy go with you? We are nor so sure that we would have enjoyed it either. The elderly natives don't appear to have been friendly at all. Our advice - DO NOT GO THERE AGAIN!

Melissa: I so do not have a problem with you or anyone else using a babe pic here on Babble! I think it's awesome and he IS adorable. However if you went to high school with me and I hadn't seen you in a dog's age (two dog's ages) I'd be pretty peeved if you'd erased all those years and more by putting your spawn's pic up instead of yer own on a social networking site.

M: You are so far from too old. Not having interest or time I understand, but I aint buying the old act Ms. Thang! :)

I am quite sure I am WAY too old for facebook/myspace/twitter whatEVER. And who has the time for all this internet companionship? I can barely stay up past 10pm most nights, and it is up at 5:30 most mornings, with lots of joy and crap in between. And I am just getting used to this blogging stuff. But that has led to discovering some fun people so it is good. Lovely diaper shot!

I've considered getting a My Space/Facebook/whatever page, but (1) I kind of feel too old (my stepchildren, nieces and nephews are all on) (2) I've got nothing to promote, (3) don't like the idea of random people looking me up. I'm kind of glad not to be on the grid.

Oh and I hope the baby profile thing doesn't apply to parenting websites. I just replaced the Babble standard baby with my (much more adorable-er) son. Not to mention the sad fact that I am so rarely camera-ready. :-)

We are both glad to say that we have never ever logged onto Facebook - maybe that's why we have so few "friends" but the ones we do have are REAL FRIENDS. A friend in need is a friend in deed just like you, Susie.

When we have tried to give Cooper ice cream he has tried it and then gotten upset, I think because it is in fact COLD. But Hugo looks like he was digging that treat!

Those are great photos! Why are people who don't have a TV so high and mighty? Did they cure cancer? Did they solve the problem of world hunger or even save a small species of salamander from extinction? No. They just didn't buy a TV and they spend a lot of time listening to NPR (so do I) and can make jokes in Latin. Big WHOOP. I did see you on TV (as did Cooper but he was non commital in his review) and you were a STAR in our house.

Won't eat bread? Really? Amazing! I wouldn't say Hugo loves bread, but he wouldn't kick it out of bed. I think because Hugo is small for his age, he eats almost everything in sight. Coop is long and strong, so he's picky. Bio urges maybe?

Hugo looks like he likes the water! Cooper likes it as long as it is not being dumped on his head in the tub. For some reason the one place you expect water to be dumped on you is the one place he doesn't like it. Some people's kids.
