You're so right Dana - it is exactly Windex blue, on a good day. I did want to love it, but I guess we were spoiled by the local swimming pools which felt much more kid friendly. Gullfoss was gorgeous - more about that coming up!

I thought the Blue Lagoon was a very refreshing (and Windex blue!) place to go right after landing at the airport.

They do have the most confusing lockers to open. I am glad that there were some friendly people around to help me navigate.

Yeah. We found Blue Lagoon, over-rated, and overly expensive. I guess it's the most touristy spot in Iceland, so to be expected. (But Gullfoss is probably the second most touristy spot, and it is *well* worth visiting).

Oh well.

I'm loving your blog. My husband spent many weeks in Iceland on business, and I was so lucky to get to join him two winters ago. It was our last pre-baby, over-seas trip. Your photos are bringing back memories and inspiring future trips with our daughter!

I loved Libero diapers when I was in Norway. Unfortunately, my daughter couldn't try the dairy products because of an allergy, but Icelandair gives them as part of the "infant meal" so if you call ahead of time, you might be able to score a couple of container for the plane ride. :)
