I am scheduled for uterine fibroid embolization (UFE,UAE) this week. Does anyone out there have any experience with this procedure & fertility afterward? I have tried everything else to deal with the fibroid & anemia, but I am now fed up. They say myomectomy is the "standard of care" for women who want to preserve fertility, I couldn't bring myself to have a major abdominal surgery. Plus it seems like vaginal birth following a myomectomy is unlikely in my case.
Any insight would be welcome.
