  • Waking up at night and not because she is hungry

    My daughter who is now 7 months old wakes up about twice a night not because she is hungry but because she is so used to my husband and I coming to her and putting her pacifier back in. I try to let her cry for a little bit because I know she isn't fully awake but I can't bring myself to do it...

    I am about to do the same thing, put the 13 month old night waker in with his sister. I dont let him CIO but he can be noisy, and quite joyful in the middle of the night Tonight I am going to try the Sounds For Silence CD http://www.soundsforsilence.com.au/ that I used to settle my daughter for naps...

    When I did this to my 3 year old daughter at 13 months old for a week she stopped meeting my eyes, she didn't smile anymore, she got down to about 7 or 8 hours sleep in any 24 hour period.     Have you tried teaching him to fall asleep on his own? What I mean is putting him down to sleep before he's actually asleep? We lie down with our 2-year-old for a few minutes of "cuddle time" then put him in his crib awake. He talks to himself and eventually goes to sleep...usually within 5 minutes of...
