  2. I have this book and love, love, love it - the recipes are all gorgeously photographed, it's lovely pink, the spiral-bound format is great, and everything sounds soooo good.  Though, honestly, I'm scared to start pureeing and so haven't tried any recipes quite yet.  I just keep flipping through it and bookmarking stuff.  I want to sneak cauliflower into my husband.

  4. I was thinking the same thing in hoping the book is a charitable venture but I've seen/heard nothing and there's been a lot of press and opportunity to mention that... so sadly, I'm guessing no.  I think I'll try another of the many "hide veggies in your kids' meals" books to support a struggling author.

  5. Seinfeld says of her own childhood, "It was so much a part of our routine, my sisters and I never even thought about the fact that we were eating vegetables or fruit. It was just food. That's what I hope to pass onto my kids." How can she possibly pass this on to her kids if she's teaching them that vegetables are so horrible that they need to be sneaked into food, rather than enjoyed on the plate in the form they're meant to be eaten? Trust me, I know how hard it is to get young kids to eat vegetables, but this just seems like the wrong approach to me.
