My daughter came up with her term for "nurse" at about 9 months, even after she had already mastered the word "nurse." She called it "mimi" and even though she no longer nurses, at 21 months she still calls my breasts that. It's much less embarrassing than "boobie" so I go with it.

You may or may not be pleased to know that there's an adult-nursing skit in the British sketch comedy *Little Britain*. The whole joke is that the pin-striped young man launches himself at his mother's chest, crying "Bittie!", at which the mother adopts an oh-here-he-goes-again or aren't-children-awful expression.
