feedback for "Parental Advisory: Early to Rise"

I'd recommend trying to eliminate the nursing at 4/5am. Try ignoring for 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, etc. and see if that feeding gets eliminated.

we've got a real problem sleeper. he's 18 months now and the ONLY thing that works is letting him sort himself out. he will get on a multiple-waking cycle and if we bring him to our bed, it just makes it worse. but if we let him figure it out for himself, he stops waking after a night or two. and 20 minutes of crying doesn't seem to bother him in the least the next day. overall, everyone is happier when we let our little guy put himself back to sleep, even if it sometimes takes a bit.
obviously everybody is different. just thought sharing our experience might help.

I'd agree with the previous two posters. And in case I missed it in their advice to you, DO NOT give a bottle of juice (or milk, for that matter) to your baby in the crib--the sugar (and bacteria that feed on it) will rot his baby teeth. If you feel like you have to give him something, give him water.
