Annsley, that was exactly how I felt growing up! The reclusive bookworm jealous of her photogenic sister! That was me to a T! When I went away to college, I visited my friends' homes for breaks and vacations, pretending that their parents were mine. Only, I didn't realize like you did, that I was desparately seeking family, just not mine. So true. Love the article. Would like to know more though...
