feedback for "Bad Parent: Party Mom"

  1. Kris,
Thank you, thank you for such an honest, "here-I-am" column. I really appreciate how you were able to put your mishaps, right here on the page. Wise and bold. I also became a single mom when my daughter was seven months old... and we moved back to the SF Bay Area to be closer to family!

  2. Thanks! that was a great piece. I'm all for parents getting to have a fun time -- no judgement from me. My only question is WHO IS WATCHING THE KID? there are two adults in this family and I barely get to go to the grocery store by myself.

  3. Wonderful article. I admire people in general who can be honest with their likes and dislikes no matter how appropriate or not they are.  Kudos for being a great mother and letting your babe cha-cha.  I am raising my daughter in my home 99% of the time and it can be difficult to be the only parent in charge during the day and desire a different sort of fun at times.

I miss the bay area!  We moved so that I can spend time with her and be closer to family. so close im in the same home.

    *insert excessive eye rolling here*

Putting the speaker top dancing away, and the midnight rock sessions with the baby on the agenda has proven quite rewarding.
