A new group of stroller addicts is hitting the sidewalks and bike trails with their dogs on board--and not just the tiny purse dogs. Thanks to the roomy new dog strollers like the Burley Tail Wagon Bike Trailer/Pet Stroller our pampered pets have joined the stroller set. I live in a city known for indulging their canine buddies with some awesome toys. I bought my pet stroller after my pup was severely injured by some metal lawn edging (the hidden knife in lawns). People expect a cute baby in the buggy so we definitely get some startled looks when they see my blue-eyed husky mix staring back at them. And people often people ask me where they can get one too.

I'm not a big fan of strollers, except for when I'm running. Most other times I prefer to carry my little one in an Ergo. I always feel so distant with the stroller if we are just hanging out. I once read somewhere how the stroller is pushing them away and the carriers are pulling them close, and I guess that just stuck with me. Sometimes, yes, I have to give in and use a stroller (my 1 year old is over 25 lbs now) but, carriers will always be my first choice!
