I noticed also that if my husband ate too much garlic then the smell sweated through and this was really bad for my pregnant nostrils. So he cut down on garlic intake for those months and that helped alot.

What really sucks is working with the public. Sure my husband seems to smell like Sven the homeless alchoholic sea captain sometimes, but in a library there are so many different fragrances to make you sick.

Yes the garlic thing was really bad in my case. I also could not tolerate the smell of tomato sauce of any kind ... no spaghetti for three months! Weirdly I was extremely attracted to the smell of fabric softener and dish soap - clean, soothing smells.
