Oh my god I loved this. I only had time to read the Worst and the Best, but this was seriously entertaining in a rather enriching way (as opposed to a trashy way!) Thank you!!

Zachary Taylor (12th - Whig), Franklin Pierce (14th - Democrat) and William McKinley (25th - Republican) I don't know much about these three and their parenting, except what you gave as the reason they were listed as bad fathers. They all had children who died tragically young? That makes them bad fathers? I'm surprised at you Babble for being so insensative to people who have lost children.

I'm not sure that what Clinton exposed Chelsea to during his second term qualifies him as a great dad. Imagine reading about your dad's affair on the internet.
And is it fair to point at the parents and blame them when their adult children screw up? Neil Bush was a grown man when he got involved in the S and L scandal. Isn't there a point when the child must accept or be given the blame for his or her actions?

Don't forget that Reagan, at his son's graduation, said to him, "My name is Ronald Reagan. What's yours?" to which Michael replied, "I'm your son, Mike" Oh, said Reagan, "Oh, I didn't recognize you." At least he attended the graduation -- he skipped Michael's wedding... and most of his childhood. It's actually a very sad story that goes a long way to explaining why Michael Reagan is such a mess now.

For the record, Barbara and Jenna Bush turned out just fine. Barbara graduated from Yale. Jenna graduated from Texas and went on to teach at a charter school and help impoverished children Central America. It's clear that the author is a Democrat, in that she ridicules the Bushes while acting as if what Clinton did in the Oval Office with a young woman his own daughter's age was no big deal. Apparently, being intellectually honest is not a requirement to write for this website.
