  8. Thank you for putting it so eloquently. My daughter's head on my shoulder is one of my favorite things in the world.

  9. Thank you for the article, it was really enjoyable! One of the great things (there are plenty more) about being a grandparent is how different your grandkids are to your own children. We have 4 grandchildren, although at 17, our grandson Connor is moving into his own adulthood, he's now more of a good friend and soundboard for what's cool.
We also have 3 grand daughter's all under 3 (actually Ruby is 3 today, Happy Birthday Ruby!)and they are very different to Connor, not just from a gender point of view. Ruby is just amazing with the speed that she picks things up and can explain what she would like. When she goes home she must have multiple kisses goodbye from us as well, her sister Darcey and our other grand daughter Lucy are equally affectionate. Our 4 kid's were, not like that with their grandparent's. Next to our teenage nieces they are world's apart, but THAT'S a whole different story! I think back and think did our kid's have the abilities that the grandkid's have at this early age, does our memory play trick's on us?
Grandkid's really are the coolest thing!. The difference in grandparenting nowadays is phenomenal, when I think back to my grandparents, I never knew my grandfather and my grandmother's faviroute expression was "run along boy's" to either my brother or myself when we got a bit too close to her, it didn't matter which one of us it was.We now spend lot's of time with all three grandchildren and are continually amazed by them, Warning! they make your heart ache with love for them, if you are not a grandparent yet I hope the day arrives soon and you can share in this unbelievable blessing!
