feedback for "Fear Factor"

  1. thank you. i'm crying. i have a 2.5 yr. old daughter and sometimes i love her so much it terrifies me to the core and i want to steal her away to a secret island where nothing can ever hurt her.
    you captured that fear beautifully.

  2. very nice piece. i have a son, almost two, who is utterly magical. and yet i don't feel that protective fear that you describe. which causes me to wonder, is that because he is a boy? or because i am a boy? or perhaps its because he is so young, maybe i will feel more protective later when he is more dangerous. irrespective, thank you for the piece.

  3. I have no children -- not yet. I have wanted them since I was ten and can't wait -- but am terrified, too. Thanks for this lovely account of motherhood. I'm crying, too.
