feedback for "Babble Best: Girls Swimsuits"

  1. Gymboree if you're on a budget? Maybe the sale rack. Now I feel really poor because I consider Target the budget staple and Gymboree a splurge. (now that we're on one income that is)   Also, why no recommendation for a rash guard? My little pumpkin is extremely fair and I feel better with her more covered. $9 at Babies R Us with matching diaper bottoms for another whopping $8 :-)

  2. Yeah, I raised my eyebrows when I read that the author thought Gymboree is for budget minded moms of multiples...how funny!  Must be nice to live in the rarified upper echelons, turning up your already turned up noses at us plebs and our "poor" pleb kids dressed in gymboree clothes!

  3. Ditto.  Since when is a twenty-two dollar swimsuit for a toddler a deal?

I don't think Babble knows their audience as well as they think they do.

  4. I have 2 girls and started buying Gymboree and then selling their clothes on ebay when they outgrew them. That way they could get more expensive clothes, but I could get some money back after they were done wearing them to buy more for the next year. I also love Target too sometimes, because you don't have to worry about their clothes if they ruin them at school, but those really aren't resellable.
I enjoyed buying and reselling so much, I decided to open my own boutique at http://www.youngandstylish.com
