The Halloween after my little sister was born, my mother dressed us up as a witch (me, age 7) with my little black cat (sister, age 5 weeks). We were a huge hit at all the costume parties, and the fuzzy little black sleeper and cat-eared bonnet were perfect for a chilly october night.
