GREAT ideas !!!
SO... what's the minimum meaningful age for a Disney trip?
We went as an extended family 3 years ago, when my nephew was 2 1/2,
and he really loved it (though he loved the Kennedy Space Center too),
esp. the Wild Animal Park.
Is that about the earliest possible age? (Our daughter is now 2 1/2, incidentally.)
Also, with kidlets, I HIGHLY recommend renting a condo for a week. My
dad got a great deal because he works for the "travel industry" (OK,
he's a pilot for UPS), and we had to sit through a 2-hour sales
pitch, but it really was great to have separate bedrooms & baths
for 3 couples + 1 toddler, and having a kitchen and living room
for grownups to congregate after the kids are in bed???
PRICELESS.
We spent 3 nights in The Dolphin, and it was great fun for the adults,
and it's true that the restaurants are awesome, but it was super
spendy, and harder on the little guy.
I think that next year we'll be doing another one of these trips - there will be THREE 3-year-olds and a 5-year-old.
And for those grownups who still hate on Disney World... well...
there's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant on the Boardwalk ...........
mmmmmmmmMMMMMMmmmmm.
