feedback for "Face Off: Food Mills"

We had the Kidco, it was fine, but after about three weeks on solids we moved on to using the immersion blender which was so much easier than the food mill. You can only fit so much in the food mill and then you have to clean out the skins or whatever.
The food mill was fantastic when I made pureed plums and the texture was great, and I was happy not to have to peel the plums but overall I would stick with the handblender and skip the foodmill altogether.

The Magic Bullet Express - Awesome! During my pregnancy I was addicted to smoothies - so as a gift I received a Magic Bullet (yeah, the "as seen on TV" thing - but you can buy it at Target, Linens & Things, etc.). Well, now that I have a baby eating pureed food, this is the best thing I've found to make his baby food! It's a bit pricey, but for all the uses I've found for it, I would highly recommend it. Easy to clean, use, store, etc. I love it.

I just inherited an old Kidco that my mom used when I was a baby, and it works just fine. For my son (now 2) I did everything by the fork/food processor and with my #2 due in August I'm looking forward to the convenience of having the Kidco for small jobs and for traveling. But I agree, the amount of time you actually have to mash your child's food is pretty minimal, so whatever works for you will probably be just fine.
