Caramel apples are so fantastically easy to make… And they totally look difficult. So 10 points for Gryffindor, you look really clever and crafty when it’s all said and done.
But here’s what: it only takes three ingredients and three minutes “cooking” time to make them. Here’s a quick recipe, so easy:
2 tablespoons of evaporated milk
50 unwrapped Werther’s chewy caramels. They’re the best.
Sticks of some kind. I used popsicle sticks.
Melt the caramels and milk in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave on high for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring frequently until smooth. Put sticks in the tops of apples. Dip the apples into the caramel mixture.
And then the fun part begins. Check it.

What Up, Boo? 2 of 11It's traditional, but made even more special with some cheesecloth and felt. I love this one.

Ryan Lochte Caramel Apple. Jeah! 6 of 11The whole olympics thing gave us an idea...why not personify these apples into our favorite dorky olympians. Jeah!
Cookie Monster Apple. 7 of 11It's a cookie. It's an apple. Everyone wins.
Ahoy Jack Sparrow! 8 of 11This apple is cuter than Johnny Depp and has for sure been washed more recently. That's right. I said it.
Cee Lo Rules. 9 of 11We love Cee Lo the most. And with a little more bling, this could transform into Mr. T, whom we love equally. Either way you can say you pity the fool who falls for other apples.
Lady Gaga Apple Was Born this Way 10 of 11Lady Gaga never needs an explanation.
Make some caramel apples. 11 of 11You won't be disappointed.
You should totally make some too. I think the world needs to see your version of Fiona Apple. Or an Apple Martini. Something.
A big thanks to Werther’s for sponsoring this campaign.
