    Adapt to circumstances.
Kids have the power to make the best of any circumstance by turning challenges into lessons. They act with excitement and a willingness to learn. They teach us that there are always to options: We can cry about the things we will never be able to change, or to adapt those realities and learn to embrace life's lessons with power of determination.
  • Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see it. 2 of 10
Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see it.
Beauty is the gift that allows us to recognize the magic of every single thing. It allows us to find hope where many others would only find pain. Kids have the magic of turning sand into dreamed-up castles. They remind us that everything is possible, that beauty is everywhere.

Living with passion every day is the answer. There is no way to make mistakes when we act with love. Kids wake up every day, do their best, and grow and learn from their experiences. They have no other choice! The only secret to overcome tough times is to do our best and keep going on.
  • Do whatever you can with whatever you have. Start right now from whenever you are. 4 of 10
Do whatever you can with whatever you have. Start right now from whenever you are.
We frequently complain about the things that we are missing, and we forget to be grateful for all the blessings that we already have. Being grateful is the key to a life of abundance. Be grateful for the things you have by doing the best you can do with them. Don't compare yourself with others.
  • Is not how much we do, but how much passion we invest in what we do. 5 of 10

There are things that money can't buy. Personal satisfaction is one of them—it can only be earned by doing what we really love. The first step to happiness is the willingness to achieve joy. Nothing is more meaningful than discovering the things that make us happy. Everything else comes after that.
  • Hope is the quiet voice that tells you “Yes you can,” when the whole world is yelling “No you cant!” 6 of 10
Hope is the quiet voice that tells you "Yes you can," when the whole world is yelling "No you cant!"
Kids are stubborn and determined. Many times we tell them "no" but they keep trying anyway. Let's learn from them to believe in our own voice. Hope is that quiet voice that pushes us to achieve our dreams and follow our personal passions.
  • It always seems impossible until we achieve it. 7 of 10
It always seems impossible until we achieve it.
Taking the first step is the only way to know how far we can go. This is the natural skill that kids use for learning to walk, one small step at a time. Along the way, they teach us to appreciate the miracle of those small steps.
  • When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world is going to be a better place. 8 of 10
When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world is going to be a better place.
The power of love has no limits. The love of power deprives us from the most important thing: being transformed by love.
  • Faith makes things possible. Love makes them simple. 9 of 10

Becoming a parent is a life commitment that is all about unconditional love. You love your child everyday of your life, regardless of his attitudes, needs or achievements. Many of us have been transformed and touched by the task of parenting. Being a parent also gives our lives purpose when we find and celebrate the blessing of giving life.
  • Play, have fun, enjoy life. 10 of 10
    Play, have fun, enjoy life.
Many times we forget to just stop and enjoy the day. We forget to smile or celebrate the simple things that bring us joy. If you're not laughing and giggling at least once a day with your children, you are missing out!
