15 Boozy-Beverage-Inspired Popsicle Recipes

When I was a kid there was nothing quite as exciting as hearing the tinkling music of the ice cream truck wending its way through the neighborhood.  I’d run and beg money from my parents and bounce up and down in line as I debated over which flavor, which character, which popsicle I was going to choose that day.  Once the decision was made I’d walk with friends and we’d eat our popsicles with delight, trying to both savor them and finish them before they ran down our hands, we’d save the sticks and use them to build ramps for toy cars and cabins for our dolls.

Now that I’m an adult I still enjoy an occasional popsicle, but my refreshing summer afternoon treat leans more towards and ice cold beer or a frosty glass of fruit infused sangria, and I know most of my friends feel the same way.  We hold the summer childhood popsicle memories dear, but our tastebuds lean a bit more towards adult beverages than popsicles.

Well fear not, y’all!  You no longer have to choose between that ice cold adult beverage and your favorite childhood popsicle.

Foodies across the net have been working hard to create frozen treats that combine their favorite adult beverage flavors with your favorite frozen treat on a stick.

Whether you call them beersicles, poptails, cocksicles or some other fun mish-mash name of cocktails and popsicles, with these 15 boozy beverage inspired popsicle recipes there’s sure to be something that appeals to both the adult and kid in you.

There’s something for everyone in these 15 Adult Beverage Inspired popsicle recipes.

Cheers, y’all!
