15 Yummy Cookie Recipes and Decorating Ideas for Spring

Last week on my blog The Alison Show I shared a new sugar cookie recipe I’ve been LOVING and instructions for how to decorate them to look like the gorgeous anemone flower. This got me thinking about some other beautiful spring appropriate cookies I’ve seen, and so here they are for your baking pleasure!

    Sugar cookies are my go to for a jaw-dropping treat. They do take some time, but this buttercream frosting recipe is a lot quicker than using royal icing, and it's so good you'll probably want to send me a thank you card.

    This is my basic chocolate chip cookie recipe dressed up for spring with some pastel colored mint chips. The sprinkles on the mint chips give the rest of the cookie a nice crunch. This batch makes a million cookies and they are super easy and fool-proof!

    I used these for my daughter's birthday party, and I think they would be PERFECT for an Easter party, but instead of a pony, do a mini chocolate egg or sugar cookie egg.
