7 Accessories Moms Could and Should RockTracey Clark
I consider my mom pretty cool. But there are some things that could make her look even cooler. I found 7 accessories that all moms could totally rock (and would make their teenagers go “Wow!”).
Boots 1 of 7These Dorado Riding Boot are the definition of "hip"! The dark brown would work well with blacks and browns. Moms could pair it with straight-leg jeans and a tunic. You can never go wrong with a good pair of boots!
A Great Purse 2 of 7Every mom needs a big purse that she can throw everything in. This Louche Bag from ModCloth is the perfect mix between modern and playful. The colors are so funky and would look great with everything. Instant style creds to anybody who has a great purse (especially moms!)
Cute Belts 3 of 7Belts are a totally fashionable accessory! You can wear them with jeans or to cinch a loose dress (maybe a maxi dress?). The Scallop Belt from ModCloth is way cooler than any normal belt.
Aviators 4 of 7Aviators are so pretty! I think wearing aviators, like these Aviators from Anthropology is one of the most classic, effortless accessories to pull a whole look together. My mom has some and I love them.
Hair Pins 5 of 7These little Sparkling Fete Bobby Pins are so cute! A total style boost from just plain old hair clips or bobby pins. For moms rushing out the door, a few of these would look great pinning back loose pieces of hair. Your teenage daughter might steal a few sometimes. I know I would!
Scarves 6 of 7I honestly don't know what it is about scarves, but I LOVE them. My mom has this one scarf that she always wears, and it makes every outfit! Wearing a cute scarf like this one from Free People with a basic tee and jeans can make a mom's outfit go from blah to beautiful!
Heels 7 of 7Heels are awesome. I think they make everyone look more polished. And moms, don't shy away from color. The color on these Suede Pumps make them so appealing. It would be so cool if my mom had these!
Word from the Mother:
I really do love these items that my daughter has chosen here. She is far more fashion forward than I am! It is pretty obvious however, looking at the price of those rider boots, that she still thinks money grows on trees. Such is the taste of a teenager.
What do you think of the list? Do you rock any of these looks? Would you dare to give any of them a try?
