7 Must-Sees At Cars Land

Cars land signWhen Cars Land opened in June, it took my breath away. Disney really paid attention to the tiniest details to bring it to life. Artisans hand painted the rocks surrounding Ornament Valley. The queues are full of references to the beloved Pixar movies and the merchandise is also true to the story of Lightning McQueen and his friends.

If you are lucky enough to visit Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park in the near future, there are many rides you shouldn’t miss. The top ride of course is Radiator Springs Racers, which is an absolute must-see. Try to get a fast-pass as soon as you enter the park because the lines are crazy. You can also check the expected wait times on the board or use an app if you have a smartphone (Verizon has a great one). That way you know what to expect before you walk into Cars Land trying to get into Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi’s Flying Tires or the much-buzzed about Radiator Springs Racers.Cars Land stores merchandise

But aside from the actual rides there is so much to see. Take the time to walk around Cars Land, hopefully once during the day and later at night, because it is a totally different experience.

Not convinced? Take a look at the pictures I took during my visit in June and you’ll see why there is so much you should not miss when you visit Cars Land:

It's spectacular. The neon lights make it really cool but what will really take your breath away is Ornament Valley.

I don't think these hats will shield you much from the sun, but they were all the rage when I visited the park. You can take fun pictures of everybody in your family trying them on.
  • Radiator Springs Racers, of course. 7 of 7
    Radiator Springs Racers, of course.
Radiator Springs Racers is the top attraction inside Cars Land and you should experience it at least once. Try to grab a fast pass as soon as you enter the park or be prepared to wait in line for a long time.

A big thanks to Verizon for sponsoring this campaign. Data rates may apply for app download/use. Click here to see more of the discussion.
