A Magical Meetup in a Land of Magic

Disneyland has always been a place of magic to me and my family. I’ve been going since I was a baby, and my daughter’s first visit was within months of first moving to Los Angeles. It’s full of wonder, fabulous rides and their shows are nothing short of spectacular. So when Disney Parks Blog invited readers, via a special RSVP link, to come to a Magical Meetup to experience the new “Mickey and the Magical Map” show, I signed up in seconds. Lucky for us, we got in because not even five minutes later all the RSVP’s were taken!

We didn’t tell Sofia until I picked her up early from school that day. She asked where we were going and I pulled out her Cinderella costume and told her… to Disneyland for a Magical Meetup! She squealed in delight and we were off to experience the magic.

The show was all you expect from Disney Parks and more. With characters like Mulan, King Louie, Pocahontas, Rapuzel, Tiana and, of course, Mickey, it is a delight for audiences of all ages. One lady in front of us was singing and dancing as much as my daughter was, but that’s just how timeless Disney is. When the show ended, we explored the park and had a magical family day….all thanks to a Magical Meetup in a Land of Magic.
