You want to know a moment I love?
That moment when kids are psyched because you let them use your iPhone or iPad…but you know you’ve snuck in some learning, too?
Here are some of the best educational apps I use to trick – I MEAN SPOIL – my kids.
iWriteWords ~ Just the name is adorable, no? This app teaches little ones the basics of handwriting while playing. It’s visually delightful and makes little ones giggle. What more could you want?
Sparklefish ~ Kids record descriptive words (and sssshhh…learn parts of speech, storytelling, creative writing, etc.) in their own voices to complete the story…results tend to be hilarious and end in fits of giggles and guffaws.
ABC Pocketphonics ~ Letter sounds, handwriting, learning those first words…PocketPhonics handily teaches these basics of phonics and more. Best of all, little kids feel like they are BIG kids, which is always a winner!
Which Apps do you love to let your kids play and learn with?
