I sometimes feel like a broken record trying to teach all the boys how to be civilized humans. With an age range from 4 to 14, on a daily basis I can be heard saying anything from “Don’t eat your boogers!” to “Don’t use the iTouch during school hours.”
I decided to start documenting all the lessons and advice I give in pictures. Why? Because creating fun projects with my pictures is one of my favorite things to do, and maybe the boys will actually enjoy the visual lesson images one day. Maybe the lessons I hope to teach the kids could be told in pictures? Maybe they need visual cues to help them internalize the words I say?
OK, realistically, the pictures will just be a fun way to make my seemingly constant advice less annoying to the boys. Either way, I’ll take it.
As you look at the pictures, see if you can relate with any of the advice I give. I would love to hear what advice you give!
