The holidays are over, kids are starting back to school, New Year’s resolutions are underway (or not), and…well, sometimes this time of year can feel a bit slumpy.
What to do? What. to. do.
After the weeks spent focusing on decorating the house, buying presents for others, making plans to visit with loved ones, and reflecting upon the meaning of the holidays…perhaps it’s time to spend a little time on yourself.
I don’t mean the New Year’s Resolution type of thing (see above) where you plan on exercising, or organize your desk, or take a photo every day. Those are obligations; I mean really TREAT yourself.
What better way to so than a delish little meal just for you and your lesser half? Instead of spooning some of that mac-n-cheese you made for the kids into a bowl for yourself, take a bit of time and create a little something that YOU will love.
