I know. I’m a horrible California father who has never taken his son to see snow in real life. Sure, he’s seen it many times on television and in books, and he’s even touched ice in the freezer, but frolicking in actual snow has never occurred before.
Before you behead me and put me on permanent ice, know this: I FINALLY TOOK MY SON ON A MAGICAL SNOW ADVENTURE.
But the critical thing to do, in this day and age, is to chronicle all the fun.
We live in a media era and you need technology that can keep up with all your human experiences. It takes a special kind of awesome camera to record these memories, especially firsts.
So, that’s why I was stoked when Samsung gave us their latest Samsung Galaxy camera. BOOM!
This new camera has a lot of bells and whistles that you’ll want to explore, but for now, let’s stick to its awesome photo capabilities, shall we?
Check out these smart photo settings:
My wife has perfect skin. Obviously. But sometimes my son’s face grows food beards, drools, breaks out in rashes and just generally gets dirty. His face is a toddler battlefield.
Luckily, the Galaxy has a setting called, aptly, “Beauty Face.” It corrects facial imperfections automatically. It’s the perfect setting for all the selfies I take. And my ugly mug.
2. Rich Tone
This setting is rad because it takes and merges pictures in various exposures to create soft and rich color.
And because the camera is so lightweight and easy to use, I have no problem taking photos up on the mountain ridge while snowboarding!
3. Right There Tone
Okay, so this isn’t one of the bazillion settings. It’s just the fact that the Samsung Galaxy camera worked, all the time and every time I needed it. It probably should be an advertised setting: kicking butt on adventures. So, it’s right there like a trusty companion on any awesome escapade, iced or not, that you embark on. Like a boss. A snow boss.
So, go check it out. And don’t forget to enter the contest!
