If there is one thing I love during the cool, fall months it’s a nice cup of hot coffee. Everywhere I go I am on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee whether I’m in New York, LA, Chicago, Miami, Kenya, London, or Berlin. But today, I am fairly certain the perfect cup of coffee has been in me this entire time.
Today I made Caramel Swirl Coffee with Werther’s chewy caramels. When I made a cup I was instantly hooked! It’s decadent. Want to make a cup? It’s simple.
Here’s what you’ll need.
8 oz. of coffee with cream.
A bag of Werther’s chewy caramels
Melt the Wether’s chewy caramels with milk. Add as much milk as you’d like to make a thick syrup of melted caramel.
Layer the melted caramel on the bottom of your coffee cup.
Add your coffee with cream.
Then top with whipped cream. Be generous so you have a plenty of space to add your melted caramel.
Swirl the caramel syrup onto the whipped cream.
Add cinnamon for a kick!
This is a great cup of coffee, especially if you’re in the mood for a warm, sweet treat. And for your little ones, feel free to substitute coffee with hot chocolate.
