Disney California Adventure's ¡Viva Navidad!

Viva Navidad at Disney California Adventure (photo by Yvonne Condes)
I love Disneyland during the Holidays, but this year it’s extra special. The parks are celebrating ¡Viva Navidad!, a celebration of Latino culture. It’s special not just because the singers and dancers are incredibly talented, but because I can share our culture with my boys in one of their favorite places on earth.

The celebration in Disney California Adventure includes a “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party” parade with great Latin and traditional holiday music and an appearance by Minnie and Mickey. Plus there’s excellent food and holiday shopping in the Paradise Garden area of California Adventure.  The party continues from now until Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes) Jan. 3 through 6, 2014.

I was able to attend a preview last week and interview ¡Viva Navidad! cast member Carlos Martinez of Santa Ana and also hang out with the Three Caballeros. I was blown away by all of the amazing dancers, musicians and singers performing for ¡Viva Navidad!, but watch the video to see for yourself.
