Disneyland's Halloween Time Decorations As Described By A Three-Year-Old

This weekend, my family was lucky enough to be invited to experience the first night of Disneyland’s Halloween Time. We had a blast on the different rides, and nothing is cooler than trick-or-treating (and getting candy!) through Disneyland. I was particularly impressed by the Halloween decorations that were up all over the park. The attention to detail was amazing, but I was pleasantly surprised that even my three-year-old daughter Annabel noticed the over-the-top decor. Here’s a visual tour of Disneyland’s Halloween Time, as described by Annie.

  • The Front Gates 1 of 11

Annie says, "These were the front pumpkins. They were funny! Mama, why don't all the pumpkins have eyebrows?"

  • Disneyland’s Main Street 2 of 11

Annie says, "Oh my gosh, that big pumpkin is eating the little pumpkin! Mommy, do you think it's like when you say you're going to eat me because I'm so delicious?"

  • It’s A Small World Exterior 3 of 11

Annie says, "That's It's a Small World! Those pumpkins were dancing around like crazy! I think they ate too much candy."

  • Mickey Mouse Ghost Lights 4 of 11

Annie says, "When I was with him I thought that maybe I was a ghost like him. Then I remembered I'm just a little girl!"

  • Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade 5 of 11

Annie says, "Whoa. Those guys are SO tall. Like giants! Really, really tall. And they have pumpkin hats. I bet they're stinky."

  • Cinderella’s Castle 6 of 11

Annie says, "Why is Cinderella's castle so scary looking? I don't like it. Does Cinderella know the bad guys did that to her castle?"

  • "Halloween Screams" Fireworks Spectacular 7 of 11

Annie says, "These fireworks were cool. My dad thought they were awesome. He was a little bit afraid of how loud they were, though."

  • "Halloween Screams" Fireworks 8 of 11

Annie says, "The fire was really really hot. And it burned stuff. I thought maybe the castle was gonna burn down! I protected my brother because he got scared. I didn't though, I was very brave."

  • More "Halloween Screams" Fireworks 9 of 11

Annie says, "The fireworks had SO MUCH SMOKE. Why was smoke there? I thought smoking was bad!"

  • Mickey Mouse Lanterns 10 of 11

Annie says, "That Mickey is scared! He needs a hug."

  • Pumpkin Mickey 11 of 11

Annie says, "That Mikey isn't scared! Look, he's winking! That's funny."
