Easy, Versatile Day and Night Looks for Travel

I flew to San Francisco yesterday for the Macy’s Levi’s Fit Challenge event! I always like to pack items that are really versatile and that usually means: jean leggings and boots!

On the plane I wore a pair of black Levi’s leggings, a t-shirt, a zip up and a pair of buckled boots. For the Levi’s Fit Challenge I changed into my dark blue Levi’s leggings, a nicer top, and a pair of black leather heeled boots.

The hotel I stayed at had the most awesome infinity mirror effect and I couldn’t resist impromptu photos of my two easy and comfortable looks:

Ok, so honestly, at first I didn’t think that Levi’s would have leggings long enough to fit a 34 inch inseam (I’m almost 6 feet tall)….but they ended up being perfect. You know when you find the perfect pair of jeans and then you kind of have a panic attack because you aren’t sure if you’ll be able to find them again? Okay, so maybe that’s just me…..but I did have a mini panic attack and I went and bought every pair of 535 leggings left in my size at the Palm Desert Macy’s.  And…I don’t feel guilty at all because the price of Levi’s is so reasonable I can buy almost 3 pairs for what I used to spend on one pair of another brand. Then I was going to grab another pair last night but I got so caught up (because I tend to talk a LOT) that I forgot to get them. So I’m back in panic mode until I get another pair or two. My favorite part is that after a few days of wear, they don’t lose any stretch or shape. Perfect for traveling because I can re-wear them for several events……and at home it means I don’t have to do as much laundry.

The Levi’s event was a lot of fun! Thanks for everyone that stopped by to say hi and check out the jeans.  I know a ton of you were fitted with the perfect jeans by the fit experts. Don’t you think that all shopping should be accompanied with a DJ:

Playing host for a night is one of my favorite things to do….because I love meeting new people and sharing things I love. Everyone from Macy’s and all the Levi’s staff were great.  I updated my head shot the day before the event so the long hair from my photo at the event threw some people off:

New head shot! Finally! I think I might keep the short hair for a while….I’m on time for everything! It takes 5 minutes to get ready.
