Exactly What Your Friday Needs: ‘Parks and Recreation’ Season 5 Bloopers!

One of the greatest things about being a televisual consumer living in the 21st century is the ability we now have to binge-stream entire tv series with a few clicks of a Roku button. Over the past several years I’ve taken advantage of this new technology, catching up on several series I missed the first go-round, including Deadwood, Nurse Jackie, and yes, NBC’s beloved comedy Parks and Recreation. In the case of Parks and Rec, I managed to devour the entire series thus far in just a few short months. LIKE A BOSS.

The downside to doing this? The series binge comedown.

Because eventually, like it or not, you hit that last episode — AND THEN WHAT? (Besides watching and re-watching the video of Patton Oswalt’s 8 minute improvised Star Wars filibuster, I mean. Because OBVS.) Like, you’re now just supposed to go on living without Ron Swanson, after spending hours every day for months admiring the glory of his meat-and-potatoes woodworking manliness? What kind of inhuman BS is that, I ask you?

Lucky for me (and you), the Season 5 Parks and Rec gag reels have been released, temporarily quenching our thirst for more Ron:

And now, thanks to that tip from Perd, I have my Friday night movie viewing all figured out. Thelma and Louise it is! Laffs-a-plenty, right?
