Ok, I am an extrememly compassionate person. When my 3 year old gets hurt, it breaks my heart. I am always there to kiss his boo boo and hold him until he feels better. That is why I wanted to share this story.
We got off the road Halloween morning. The kids were really tired. When my 3 year old, Noah, is tired he gets floppy. Kind of clumsy. He has a hard time listening and doesn’t heed my warnings. He started spinning in the TV room. Running around and around in circles. I kept telling him to be careful. He was gonna get dizzy and fall. but, like my tired little 3 year old, he didn’t hear me . Or, should I say he didn’t pay attention to what I was saying. After running in circles for about 4 minutes, it happened. He ran head first into the padded arm of the couch. It stopped him dead in his tracks. The shock on his face was apparent. When I saw it I busted out laughing. I couldn’t help myself, it was so funny to see. I knew he was ok, it’s like he ran into a pillow. But, sure enough, tired and thrown off his game, he busted out crying. I, of course, went over and held him. I had to hide my face though. I was laughing so hard, I could barely breath. My husband walked in and was confused. Our 3 year old was crying and I was holding him laughing. My face beat red, eyes watering.
Have you ever laughed at your kids when they fell? I swear if you saw this happen, you too would have laughed. Is it wrong ?
