If your living room is like mine, it’s not the most ideal place to play video games or work out. We made a simple adjustment to make it easy to alter in the matter of a few seconds without changing the overall look of our decor.
Here’s my daughter rearranging the heavy furniture by herself…..and getting out some of her energy playing her favorite Xbox with Kinect games. She insisted on her favorite song…it looks a lot like dancing right? I wish I had that much energy!

So how did we make the coffee table easy to move? We added casters to the bottom. Casters come in all shapes and sizes. With the furniture easy to move, we are much more likely to spread out and play the Kinect games that require a lot of space for movement. I love that my 5-year-old can set it all up by herself too without hurting herself. She just moves the table out of the way.

If you aren’t into the industrial look, you can also just add these easy furniture sliders so that they fit under the furniture without being seen.
