Pet Shaming Volume One

By ashleyhackshaw |

(my 2.5 lb yorkie Diesel)

I recently discovered the new photo trend of dog shaming. I admit I’m not the best “pet parent” when it comes to consistent discipline.  Someone once told me a dog forgets what they did a few seconds after they did it so I always thought: what’s the point. I asked readers to submit their pets behaving badly and here’s the result after just a few hours. (P.S. I don’t discriminate against other pets.) Hehe, I kind of  think they might be shaming us:

Pet Shaming Photos Volume One

"This is my naughty kitty, Beaux-Beaux Fete. He likes to eat things he shouldn't. I tried to shame him but it didn't work. Three days later he ate a baby bird."
Submitted by Lisa Neal.

Thank you for all the submissions! They were hilarious! I just wish I could have included every single one…..but there’s always volume 2!

I can not stop laughing. At first I thought the folks that sent in their particular dog and cat offenses wrote the accompanying text and I was way impressed with all the David Lettermans you had as contributors. Then my feeble brain finally figured out that you, Ashley, were the writer of said funnies and, well…..would you marry me? Im not gay and neither are you, but Gosh you are funny and frankly, I need funny right about now. No? Ok, doesnt hurt to ask. Husband doesnt let me date anyway.
Seriously, you caused me several spit takes, laugh out loud, scare the neighbors kind of giggles. YOU are brilliant!
But just to be cautious, anyone living within 5 miles of Cooper, that has a beagle, move. Now.

Ha! My dog is Kona, the cake eater, but I love all of them! We shared her “bad behavior” when we wrote about the cowboy birthday party that this cake belonged to on our blog at http://anationofmoms.com. Thanks for sharing!

This is too funny! I hand make dog collars and I always see people’s doggies behaving in photos so it’s fun for a change to see the misbehaving! I can’t wait for round 2! :)
