Icebreakers: The Best Way to Get a Party Started

Thanks to HP for sponsoring this post. Click here to see more of the discussion.

Have you ever had a party with many different groups of friends and there’s the awkward beginning?  It’s like there’s an invisible line between groups that have never interacted before. A game like Icebreaker Bingo is a great way to “break the ice” and introduce yourself to everyone quickly.

How it works:

Each person gets a Bingo card and a pen. Explain to the group that they have 15-20 minutes to mingle and get to know each other. As they find someone that matches one of the traits on the card, have that person sign the box. The first person to get a Bingo (five in row up, down or across) wins!

After you have played, you can gather back together and discuss some of the interesting traits you discovered about the members of the group.
