Last Minute New Year’s Celebration Ideas

It’s New Year’s Eve tonight! Maybe you let it sneak up on you this year like I did and are a little unprepared. My kids love to celebrate New Year’s Eve, and even when we keep it simple, it’s always fun to have a little celebration planned to help ring in the New Year. I’ve pulled together a few fast inspirations, printables, and DIY’s of last minute New Year’s Celebration ideas to help you along. There’s still time!

And if it’s too late for tonight, many of these ideas are a great activity for New Year’s Day too.

    Use this printable as a prop for the photo booth, totally adorable, right?  They have a couple different fun printable chalk art options to choose from.

  • Polaroid Resolutions 3 of 10

    If you've got a polaroid or an Instax camera, this is a great idea! Take a picture of someone and have them write their resolution underneath. Super fun!

    Love this idea! Have each family member contribute a memorable item from the past year, insert a photo and seal it up to be opened on New Year's Eve 2014. Such fun!

    A New Year's party calls for a little glitz and here's an easy way to get some! All you need are some balloons, some confetti or glitter, and a little decoupage. Bingo! Instant sparkle.

    Hit your local craft store for some clear bags, confetti, and noisemakers. Put together an individual bag for each friend or family member. Have everyone use theirs when the clock strikes 12 (or 8 pm…)!
