Official White House portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama

By now you probably know–the First Lady got bangs! But do you know why she made the big change? Well, Rachael Ray asked her that very question in an interview. Mrs. Obama’s answer: “This is my mid-life crisis.”

More power to you Mrs. O, but why does it have to be a crisis? Why can’t it just be a hunger for change? I prefer to think of this instinct to shake things up to be a mid-life attitude, not a crisis. Like Patti LaBelle says, “Oo Oo, Oo Oo, Oo, I got a new attitude!”

Here are 13 things you can do to get yourself a new attitude; beginning, end and mid-life.
