On inspiring conferences, spring break, and your amazing photosChristine Kang
I’ve just returned from Columbus, Georgia, speaking at the Women’s Leadership Conference at Columbus State University. I had the most amazing time while I was there: I met truly inspiring women, listened to really interesting talks, and was warmly received by some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. It was such a great time, for which I’m truly thankful.
But now that I’m back, it happens to be spring break this week in Texas, so I’m squeezing the last few moments out of it with my family right now. It’s been such a whirlwind traveling week for me, that honestly, I haven’t taken many pictures. Yet.
You guys are amazing photographers! And when last week, I asked you to share with me images of what you’re grateful for, so many of you did, with abandon. The images are beautiful. They’re touching. And a few are even spellbinding.
So while I’m off to the beach with my husband and daughter, I’ll share some of my favourites of yours with you in the slideshow below. Thanks to all of you who shared. And please, keep them coming: if you’d like to be featured here on Bliss Your Heart, simply send your images to me at email@example.com, with a short description of what they represent, and a link to your site, if you have one.
Because gratitude is contagious. And we should all be responsible for spreading it.
Have a great week, everyone. Enjoy.

Happy snuggles 3 of 8Such a stellar image -- the grey/blue background, with the pops of colour in the foreground, and the happy smile on the beautiful baby. Awesome shot.

Token of spring 6 of 8"Last spring we took some photos in this yard and I discovered a violet I'd never seen before, all full of dashes and spots. Just looking at it makes me stop and breathe a little, knowing Spring will come, and there is much beauty to be found in the smallest places."
-- Alexandra White
Soft slumber 7 of 8"My gratitude is for my kitty Nelly who I adopted over ten years ago."
-- Kathy Patalsky
Sunshine and celebration 8 of 8"This picture represents so very many things that I'm grateful for, all in one image. Of course, there's my beautiful baby on her first trip to the ocean (she LOVED it). There's also the fact that back home there was a blizzard and ten degree temps while we were off on our sunny trip. You can't see them, but at the beach with us were several family members, some of whom I hadn't seen in years. We'd all gathered across the country for my amazing grandmother's Celebration of Life service after losing her to cancer. It seems like such a sad thing, but there were an untold number of things to be grateful for on that trip."
