I went around the yard today, picking up baseballs, frisbees, empty juice pouches, wrappers, and other miscellaneous junk my kids always seem to leave in their wake.
One of my more interesting finds today was this.
This item is in its natural habitat. It uses camouflage to keep its predators from preying upon it. Let’s zoom in and take a closer look . . .
To the untrained eye, it just looks like dirt. Its disguise is genius. But the expert hunter (aka MOM), can tell that it’s something more than mere dirt. Let’s look even closer.
Still not sure what it is?
It’s a sock, of course. THIS is where all the missing socks go. My backyard.
