Outfitting your Pint Size Skater

My kids are skaters. We just got back from a drive up the California coast where we literally hit every skate park in every town along the way. Santa Barbara? Check. Monterey? We got you covered. Because these little dudes spend an exorbitant amount of time at the skate parks, they insist upon rocking skater style. There is just one problem with that equation: it’s pricey! Thankfully our man Shaun White struck a deal with Target way back when to provide quality skater style on a dime.

Shaun White/Target has become my kids’ ENTIRE wardrobe, and since it’s cyber Monday, I thought that I would pick out my boys’ favorite Shaun White skater gear available online right now. These threads may not be on sale, but they are always available at a crazy good price. Plus, they hold up and trust me, that is not an easy feat with my guys.

    Skater Shirt
First up? This is one of their favorite designs. I love the look and feel of this shirt. Everyone is on a deck and this is pretty much a skater's dream.
  • Fedora 2 of 5
My youngest son loves his fedora. He rocks it any time he is feeling fancy. I totally dig it as well. It brings some pop to his outfit.
  • Skinny Jeans 3 of 5
    Skinny Jeans
I love, love, love these. My cousin's kid wore them to school and I spotted him way across the yard. These jeans say "I want to be noticed" and they are even more rad in person.
  • Plaid Jacket 4 of 5
    Plaid Jacket
This layering jacket is just perfect because it's got the surprise hoodie which just rocks on a cool day. It's Nirvana meets Run DMC.
  • Balance Board 5 of 5
    Balance Board
One of the worst things for a skater is a rainy day and no indoor skatepark for miles. This balance board is the perfect way to practice without getting wet. I must admit that I even hopped on the thing once or twice. It's infectious.

Thank you Shaun White and Target. This skate mama really appreciates the bargains without sacrificing my kids’ style. Because, you know, that wouldn’t be any fun at all.

A big thanks to Target for sponsoring this campaign. Click here to see more of the discussion.
