Pass it On: Talking to Kids About Tragedy

courtesy Brene Brown

I just wanted to pass on this list of resources provided by Brene Brown (who is one of my favorite people) on talking to kids about tragedy and death.

We shouldn’t shield our kids from the challenges in our world (because that’s an impossible scheme) but equip them to thrive within it.  It’s difficult for us, but healthy for them.

As they deal with hurt and pain in healthy ways, their hearts will grow big and full.  And that’s our greatest hope.

If you find these resources helpful, please pass them on.
