The holidays are quickly approaching which can cause a little angst even for the most organized among us. That said, we definitely still have time to make decisions about the types of gifts we would like to give this year. Here are 12 buy one, give one (BOGO) gifts that will make the loved one in your life smile and also provide a useful item for a person in need from shoes, to eyeglasses, to food.

You’re probably most familiar with TOMS, the company that popularized the buy one, give one business model. Every time you buy a pair of TOMS shoes they give a pair to someone in need.

You might not be familiar with other buy one, give one companies like Warby Parker that gives a pair of eyeglasses to someone in need for every pair consumers buy. Also, Ecojot gives a workbook and school supplies to children in need for every notebook you purchase.
