Plum and Apple Cobbler
Makes 8 servings
Prep: 15 minutes, Stand: 10 minutes, Bake: 55 minutes, Cool: 30 minutes
1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, Grands!® Pillsbury®
2 pounds plums, cut into slices
2 pounds McIntosh apples, cut into slices
3â„4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1. Preheat oven to 375°. Bake biscuits according to package directions; cool on a wire rack. Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, toss together plum and apple slices, sugar, and cornstarch; let stand for 10 minutes.
3. Spoon filling into prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes; remove foil, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer, or until fruit is bubbly. Arrange baked biscuits over filling, and bake for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and cool for 30 minutes before serving.
