While we’re talking floors, let’s move on from hardwood floor inspiration to bathroom floor inspiration! My husband and I are definitely going back and forth regarding the floor in the kids’ bathroom. Since we’re in the midst of remodeling the rest of the house right now, the bathroom is currently #37 on the list, and some things just have to wait.
The bathroom has original 50s tile work on the countertops and shower wall, which we will keep for the time being, but the previous owners put in a horrible Tuscan-inspired tile floor a few years ago. WOWZA. Talk about not respecting the style and integrity of the house! So we removed that monstrosity immediately, and are currently discussing options. We will probably go with something very inexpensive and very simple (something along the lines of luxury vinyl tile), because we hope to completely remodel the bathroom in a few years when the children are older.
However, that decision didn’t keep me from browsing photos of elaborate bathroom flooring. Here are some great ones.
