If you don’t like coconut, CLICK AWAY MY FRIEND! For me coconut rules my world and the more raw, natural and basic it is the better. Lately I’ve had the opportunity to try a whole new slew of coconut treats and so I must share them with my fellow coconut lovers and health (coco)nuts. The best part about all of these treats? They’re actually healthy! Most of them (if not all) are organic, raw, vegan, non-GMO, dairy free, gluten free and paleo friendly. (WHOO.) Truth: Until these treats came into my life I believed that the only way coconut could be delicious was on top of a Girl Scout cookie. Then I learned the more basic the coconut? The better. I had a raw young coconut in the Cayman Islands and while it could have easily made this list, the shipping would be a little ridiculous.
The two boxes I mention, Conscious Box and Healthy Surprise, are mail order subscription boxes that bring gluten-free, raw, vegan and soy free treats to your front door each month. It’s a fantastic way to find new snacks without being committed to a whole box of something that may be kind of nasty. (Honestly? Some of the things have been pretty nasty. Vegan chocolate with raisins? Just say no.)
