Spine-Tingling Halloween Recipes

Hurricane Sandy was a true Frankenstorm before Halloween. In my state of New York, we will have a lot of work to do to rebuild and help our neighbors and friends recover from the devastation of the storm. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.

Whether you can celebrate Halloween today or need to delay it because of the storm, I have spine-tingling recipes that are frightfully tasty and easy-to-make that will help you celebrate the day.

10 (1-ounce) processed American cheese slices
3 pounds ground chuck
1 (1.0-ounce) envelope ranch salad dressing and seasoning mix, Hidden Valley Ranch®
1 tablespoon ketchup

1. Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350° to

shape into 10 patties. Grill, covered with grill lid, for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of
doneness. Carefully place prepared cheese slices on burgers; grill, covered with grill lid, for 1 to 2 minutes, or
